I will say Super Fast when compared to Agra Rail Clerks or the whole of UP rail clerks.

Q of 9 in series done in 20 minutes flat.
Thanks, my dear Ajni Clerk!

I think, the psychological, sociological & geographical South India
starts from Nagpur and down.

more Dalits here,
Ambedkar photos bigger than Gandhi photos in offices,
well educated, law abiding, efficient, clear thinkers.

Winter, the Chill while Biking, Black Leather Jacket & Gloves,
Someone loaning a Beautiful Pen to you & forgot to collect from you,

relishing the Ama [Paruppu] Vada & Ulunda Vada from road side
Madurai Tamil vendor near the Ajni Rail Bridge....

bringing back home some packed, hot Vadas to see the sparkles of smile at home,
"Vadaya parthe romba naal aachu"

All these things you loose if you do the Online Reservation.
There is Life Throbbing Offline, if u can risk H1N1!

The Hindus book by Wendy Doniger - or Donkey-erred?

Just browsed this page ராமர் சீதை காமம் / காதல் பற்றிய ஒரு நிதர்சனமான உளவியல் பார்வை
The Hindus book by Wendy Doniger - thanks facebook friend Osai Chella 's updates.

Kama, Krodha, Lobha - all these are present in ALL ERAs Rajasvic people.
Those days Rajas. Now, MLA MP politicians and Business men.

Thats why the Tamil saying came,
1. பணம் பெருத்தா ....பறச்சேரியில் போடு....
2. வெள்ளிக்குப் போடுறதும், வேசிக்குப் போடுறதும் ஒண்ணு

So don't blame only Dasaratha. Rama. I am not saying they are not to be analysed.
I say See the Whole Package
- Accept them as Whole Package with thier Human Shortcomings
- See what message Rama, Dasaratha Bharatha delivered?

Rama's message in the whole Ramayana is : Love thy wife, Monogamy's virtue.
Dasaratha : the pathetic story of a man with many wives.
Bharatha : Love of Brotherhood - lesson for Anil & Mukesh Ambanis.

That's all. Lord Rama is not the Sole Rep. of Hinduism. Krishna, Shiva is also there.
Sex is part of Hinduism, Khajuraho stands testimony.

Self Control, Social Responsibility, Love for People, Animals, Plants & even non living things
these are some notable Essence of Hinduism.
We cant enumerate all, space is less.

Why not u blame Akbar? who had many wives? why not blame
Lady Diana who slept with many being a Princess?

EVR Periara Seruppala Adikkanum - he blamed all Hindu Kings, and he himself
enjoyed YOUNG WOMAN at his old age.

Wendy Dongier, like many PULP writers, easily blame other Religions, other Customs, other Cultures
for cheap money and cheap profits.

Her name should have been Wendy Donkeyer - the correct spelling can be.

New Orkut UI ....Copycat of Facebook....not so good. not user friendly.

Verdict on new Orkut [Beta]
Title of the blog says it all...

Hmmmm...in the Fashion Department, Google people are always slow.
Scientists cant be expected to wear Good Fashion Clothes na?

See this one site http://in.mobile.yahoo.com/services# = google has no match as colorful, rich web2 site.
the Rich Attire of the Web Page! wow - a Designers' Delight! Yahoo I love You!

That remains a home turf for Yahoo! Flickr! Facebook to name a few competitions to Google products.
FYI [bring the ear closer] : send some file attachment in Gmail and see 90% chances it will not reach the destination.

for the time being, i love the present look of old orkut. Time will tell the rest.

Siwan Culture, Siwan Oasis - Connection between India, Egypt, Libya, Africa

Thanks to todays Times of India, I came to know of "Siwan Culture" & "Siwan Oasis" in Sahara Desert.
Hinduism - Saivism is the Oldest Religion in the World. Siva is the Oldest God till now unearthed.

Westerners may name it "Siwa" a small spelling difference, but the Legend is same.

Oracle of Lord Shiva?

Excerpts from site :- http://www.all-about-egypt.com/siwa.html
and http://www.touregypt.net/featurestories/templeoforacle.htm
The Siwa Oasis is located between the Qattara Depression and the Egyptian Sand Sea in the Libyan Desert, approximately 50 km east of the Libyan border, and some 560 km from Cairo.

About 80 km in length and 20 km wide, it is one of Egypt's most isolated settlements, home to about 23,000 people, the majority of whom are ethnic Berbers who speak a distinct language known as Siwi. Agriculture is the main activity, primarily the growing of dates and olives.

Cambyses, who ruled Egypt between 525 and 522 BC, wanted to destroy the Oracle, but he lost his army somewhere in the vast outreaches of the Western Desert. Pliny tells us that this was because the sacred stone at the temple [Shiva Linga?] was touched by sacrilegious hand, which caused a dreaded sand storm to rage.

There is a legend that Pindar, the famous Greek poet who lived between 522 and 443 BC, wrote a poem about the Oracle that was kept under the altar for six centuries. [in Tamilnadu also we kept Thevarams under the Chidambaram Temple Lingam Altar]

We are told that Alexander the Great, in 331 BC) consulted the Oracle in order to seek confirmation that he was the son of Zeus (Amun), and therefore a legitimate ruler of both Egypt and other lands that he conquered.  When he and his entourage arrived after capturing Egypt, a manifestation of the Oracle was paraded through the city accompanied by eighty priests.

the Elians were so deeply influenced by the Oracle that they kept a list of all their questions and answers provided by the Oracle, which they engraved in stone upon a temple wall.

By the time that Strabo visited Siwa after the birth of Jesus Christ, he noted that the Oracle was no longer as powerful and was in decline.

The temple is reached by climbing a well-marked path up the side of the rock it surmounts. The temple does not occupy the entire area. It sites within the village that was abandoned for the most part in 1926 after a heavy rainstorm. Until very recently, at least some families actually lived in the temple.

The inscriptions being at the two sides of the entrance to this chamber, and continue on the side walls, though it seems that the back wall may never have been inscribed. To the right of the entrance is the figure of King Amasis, in whose reign the temple was built and decorated, though his head and body have been chiseled out.  The crown of the North upon his head was left intact. The king's name is written inside a cartouche in front of him. He offers rounded vases of wine to eight deities who stand facing him in a row, preceded by Amun, who are represented on the east wall. Other gods on the wall include Amun's consort, Amenre, MutKhonsu and Mahesa. [note the word Mahesa] The last deity is a female who wears the double crown, but her inscription is completely destroyed. The accompanying text reads, "I give life to the Chief of the desert-dwellers, Sutekh-irdes".

The Sanctum Santorum had the "IthyPhallic" symbol of the Lord Shiva - means the Lingam.

Justice Dinakaran Land Grab Case : Be a Dalit & Get Away with Anything in India!!!

TM CM Karuna says :-

Chennai,Nov 9(PTI)Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today said his government cannot take "hasty decisions" to retrieve the land allegedly encroached by Karnataka High Court Chief Justice P D Dinakaran in the state and slammed CPI-M for spearheading an agitation on the issue against a Dalit.

http://www.ptinews.com/news/369189_Karuna-slams-CPI-M-for-stir-against-Dinakaran

Mathlab yeh hai, If you are a Dalit, you can be Corrupt, you can Encroach, Law will go slow on you.

Already another "Dalit" is now under scanner at New Delhi - the Telecom scam - Raja episode.
Also, the famous case of Mayawati...

Samy! India is a Great Country to be Born in, especially if you are a Dalit! or a Minority.
No wonder, Nobel Venky shied of being Nationalistic.

Evolution by Selection the OPS caste in Tirunelveli Saiva Pillai

First heard of this OPS community at Sundari Athai's elder brother at Tuticorin Sankar Colony Vaithi Mama Home in 2002.
Never knew such sub clan / caste existed in Saiva Pillai.
This OPS full form he cant tell me.
Now came to know of this at Internet

"This Community belongs to The OPS family.
People from Omanallur Patarpuram and seemachembaruthi.Since because our family has spread wide across all the oceans in the world, I am creating this community to be well knit and well bonded as the elders of our community had guided us to be.
So members of this family,if u r in orkut pls do flock in"

so this is the case of OPS - see how the Winning Couples are made by Selection by the Tirunelveli Saiva Pillai people? especially, the Kadayam vagaiyara, Tenkasi vagaiyara, Ilanji, Senkottai Pillaimars are considered more wealthy, more arrogant, more pannaiyar like.

So interesting this OPS is.
never seen a OPS till now.

We need one more Charles Darwin for doing some Anthropology here.

What is the Price of Humanity?

Date 02 Oct 09.
Chennai Central.
I wait for Ticket. in Q.
One youth comes to me, his dress muddied, hair disheveled.
Begs to me, "Sir, I am from Trivandrum, dont have money to buy ticket back to TVM" in broken tamil.
Mostly he may be acting. he may need cash. It may be some decent form of begging.
He adds, "Sir, if you have doubt, please take the Ticket and give me the Ticket not money.
came for some entrance exam, lost all bag, purse, etc. now penniless" - tries to fall on my feet.
Cant take this anymore.
OK yaar, I believe you.
Take this Rs.160/- for Ticket, sorry dont make me stand for your ticket.
take the ticket yourself and may god bless you.
Suppose he lied to me, suppose he cheated me?
No problem, the cost of Humaity, the price of Genrosity should not be such cheap.
I left the place.
I was so happy, this little help, this little Charity can produce tons of Joy in me.

Same thing, 06 Nov 2009
On G.T express
Old woman with a Label Printing Gun and Key Chains.
wanted to buy one Keychain with my daughters name on it.
Rs.20/- per key chain, bargained to Rs.15/- for one.

Done, the name P.Soorya Velaa made.
Sticked.
Saw my purse, no change there all big notes.

The lady is in a hurry, sir, i have to disembark at this station, please rush up for change.
Nearby passenger gives her Rs.20/- and says, sir i will get it from you afterwords

I insist, Lady, return the Rs.5/- and also give me the Keychain.
The Lady ran away with Rs.20/- and Keychain too.

Nearby wala says, sir, go run away, catch her!
I was some what in a Good Mood!

Wanted to test the Woman.
Just watched her fly away - she never gave the Keychain nor the Rs.5/ back.

So Count Loss? Rs.20/- for nothing.
I changed the Big Note ASAP and gave it to this man.

All were discussing about the Cheating, the run away Lady.
I just thought? what the heck?

There is a way to deal with Loss. Losses make you more Profound, more philosophical.
Some Swamiji's even run away with the Theif to give back all he could.

That Rishi  told the running Thief, "My Friend - you missed this item at my Ashram - please take this also - it will be more helpful for you"

That Thief changed instantly - became his Shisya - like Instant noodle.
So, I thought, yes, just now I did a Charity.
Just now I fed a thirsty, needy.

This should be the feeling when some one Cheats you, but at the same time you should be extra careful such a guy doesn't do it again.

Parting with what you got has got immense pleasure.
God, please give me more so that I can part with more!

Thanks Indian Railways for such instant charities to happen!
